What’s Tempered glass | Toughened or tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. |
Features Advantage | 1.Heat soaked: Reduce the risk of tempered glass self-explosion. More safety.
2.Safety:When broken, tempered glass is to crumble into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards. The granular chunks are less likely to cause injury.
3.High strength:Comparing to the float or annealed glass, the impact resistance and bending resistance is 3~5 times. 4. Hhermal stability:Comparing to the float or annealed glass, Tempered glass can endure the difference in temperature 3~5 times. It can withstand 250℃ difference in temperature.
